This article is about the AI Hybrid Builder. To see how it compares with Classic Builder, read How the AI Hybrid Builder differs from Classic Builder.
Unbounce AI can use one of your existing web pages as a starting point. It reads the page and uses what it finds, like your brand's look and what your business offers, to build a landing page that fits with the rest of your site.
Add a website to your prompt
In the AI landing page assistant, include the website address anywhere in your prompt, along with what you want the new page to do. For example:
- "Build a landing page for our spring sale that matches the style of example.com."
- "Use example.com/services as a reference and make a lead generation page for our free consultation offer."
Type the address right into your prompt; there's no separate box for it. While your page is being built, the chat panel shows "Reviewing the reference site" so you know the site is being used.
What Unbounce AI uses from the website
Unbounce AI looks at the site's style and uses it to design your page, mainly its color palette and overall look. It doesn't copy the site's logo, text, or exact fonts. To use your own logo and images, upload them to your image library first.
Unbounce AI uses the website as a reference, not a copy. Your new page is built from the website and your prompt together, so say what should be different, like a new offer, a different audience, or a shorter page.
If Unbounce AI can't read the website
If Unbounce AI can't reach the site, it doesn't change your page. Instead, it tells you the address couldn't be reached and asks you to check it or describe the look you want, like the colors, fonts, and overall feel.
A website might not be readable if:
- It requires a login or sits behind a firewall
- The address has a typo, or redirects somewhere else
- The site blocks automated visitors
Check the address and try again, or describe your page in the prompt without a website.
Tips
- Use a page that shows your brand clearly, like your homepage.
- Upload your logo and brand images to your image library first. Unbounce AI can use them, which makes your page look much more like your brand.
- Tell Unbounce AI how the new page should differ from the reference.
- Only use websites you own or have permission to draw from.
Uploading an image, Figma file, or brand file as a reference isn't available in the AI Hybrid Builder yet.
