Unbounce’s stand-alone Smart Copy product will be discontinued on January 28, 2026. After this date, the Smart Copy application at https://copy.unbounce.com/ will no longer be accessible, and all content stored inside the app will be unavailable.
Below you’ll find everything you need to know about the change, how it affects your subscription, and what steps to take before access ends.
Key dates
- January 28, 2026 — Smart Copy is permanently discontinued and access to Smart Copy ends on this date

March 28, 2026 — Saved content recovery cut-off
- Please save copies of any Smart Copy content in your own files outside the app before January 28, 2026
- If you are unable to save your content before the cut-off date, you may contact our support team to request an export of your saved content up to March 28, 2026 after which time all associated content will be permanently unavailable
What this means for your subscription
- Refunds will be processed automatically within 5–10 business days starting January 28, 2026.
- You will receive a prorated refund for all remaining days in your billing cycle.
- No action is required on your end.
- If you don’t receive your refund please contact us.
Back up your saved content
Please ensure you’ve saved copies of any Smart Copy content in your own files outside the app before January 28, 2026.
If you are unable to save your content before the cut-off date, you may contact our support team to request an export of your saved content up to March 28, 2026 after which time all associated content will be permanently unavailable.
Does this affect the Unbounce landing page builder?
Only the stand-alone Smart Copy application is being discontinued.
If you also have an Unbounce landing page builder subscription:
You will continue to have access to AI copywriting support for landing pages inside the builder. These tools allow you to:
- Rewrite page copy
- Expand or summarize text
- Produce multiple copy options you can use to refresh your page or A/B test
How to find AI copywriting writing support inside the builder:
- Open any landing page and double-click a text box.
- Select AI Text.
- Choose to rewrite, expand, or summarize your content.
- Apply your preferred version directly within the builder.
