What Do I Need to Do to Get My Account Transferred?

Follow

Are you striking out on your own, and ready to move your landing pages from an agency account to your own Unbounce account? This article will help you prepare everything to make the move as smoothly as possible.

What You’ll Need:

  • A new Unbounce account of your own.
  • Confirmation emails from the old account owner and the new account owner that they both accept and give permission to transfer all pages and domains from old account to the new account.
    • If there is a preferred date and time that you would like the transfer to happen, we recommend you include these in your confirmation email.
    • It’s also helpful to include the domains and pages that you’d like to have transferred over.
    • You can also let us know what clients you’d like to have transferred, but users cannot be moved over so you’ll have to add them manually yourself.

We’ve created an email template for you to use! Go ahead and copy and paste these into your email account below and use these as your confirmation email templates:

If you are the relinquishing/sending account, use this email and include the email address of the receiving account owner in the CC field:

Once you have all the information above, contact the friendly Unbounce support team, and we’ll take care of the rest! Don’t worry, there shouldn’t be any downtime for your account transfer.
