Q: How do I track Google Ads conversions on an AMP page?

A: Since tracking click conversions on an Unbounce landing page requires Javascript, there is no direct way to track click conversions on an Unbounce AMP page. We recommend that you create a separate Thank You Page URL from your AMP form and add your conversion script to this separate URL.

 

Q: What integrations work with AMP pages?

A: All integrations including Zapier and Webhook work as normal with AMP pages except for Hubspot and Infusionsoft, due to their integral usage of javascript for functionality.

 

Q: Does DTR (Dynamic Text Replacement) insertion work on AMP pages?

A: Unfortunately, AMP does not support DTR. Adding DTR to your canonical page will not pass those parameters through to your AMP page.

 

Q: I’m going to the link to my canonical page on my mobile phone, but it’s not pulling up my AMP page even though I correctly linked them together. Why can’t I get to my AMP page?

A: AMP page loading through links are only supported through specific Google Partners. This means that if you try to go to your canonical URL directly on your phone, it will not load your AMP page. Check the Google Supported Partners list to find out which platforms support AMP linking.

 

Q: Is it possible to create two variants of a page, one with an AMP page and one a non AMP mobile page for A/B testing?

A: Unfortunately this feature is not supported at this time. 

 

 

Q: I’ve linked my canonical and AMP page properly and my AMP page loads on organic google searches, but won’t load for Google Ads. How do I get my AMP page to load for Google Ads?

A: Google recommends you specifically put your AMP URL for Google Ads usage. See this link for more info.
