Adding a LinkedIn Share Plugin to Your Landing Page

Adding a LinkedIn share plugin is a quick way to add a bit of LinkedIn functionality to your landing pages - the Share button gives your page visitors the option to share LinkedIn content to their network almost right away.

This article will explain how to embed the Share Plugin in the Classic Builder using the HTML widget.  

  1. Navigate to the LinkedIn Share Plugin page and copy the code provided.
  2. Once you’ve copied the appropriate code from the links above, log in to your Unbounce account and navigate to the landing page where you’d like to add your share plugin.
  3. Drag and drop a Custom HTML customhtml.png widget from the left side of the Unbounce Builder to the spot on your landing page where you’d like to put your share plugin. A new dialog box will appear.
  4. In the Embed Custom HTML Code dialog box, paste share plugin code into the blank field. Replace the URL in the quotation marks after data-url with the link you’d like to share. linkedinsharecode.png
  5. Click the Save Code button at the bottom of the dialog box.
  6. Save and Publish/Republish your page.

Your new LinkedIn share plugin should be embedded onto your landing page!

Using a LinkedIn Follow Company Plugin

  1. Follow the instructions here on how to find your LinkedIn Company ID. Record this number for later use.
  2. Navigate to the LinkedIn Follow Company plugin page and copy the code provided.
  3. Once you’ve copied the appropriate code from the links above, log in to your Unbounce account and navigate to the landing page where you’d like to add your share plugin.
  4. Drag and drop a Custom HTML customhtml.png widget from the left side of the Unbounce Builder to the spot on your landing page where you’d like to put your share plugin. A new dialog box will appear.
  5. In the Embed Custom HTML Code dialog box, paste share plugin code into the blank field. Replace the URL in the quotation marks after data-id with the company code you recorded in step 1.
  6. Click the Save Code button at the bottom of the dialog box.
  7. Save and Publish/Republish your page.

Your new LinkedIn follow company plugin should be embedded onto your landing page!
