How do Popups and Sticky Bars Affect Page Speed Performance?

Follow

It’s very hard to quantify the exact impact of popups and sticky bars on page speed performance, but when used as directed, popups and sticky bars should have very minimal impact on your page load time.

The size of the popup/sticky bar script can vary depending on what scripts, additions, and custom changes you’ve built into your popup/sticky bar and landing page. However, the script for loading the popup/sticky bar loads asynchronously from the script that loads your landing page - which means we load your landing page first, then load the popup/sticky bar. Since this script loads after the page has rendered and already appears functional to the browser, there is very little effect on page speed.
