If a visitor leaves a form partway through, for example by closing the tab or refreshing the page, they normally have to start over. This script uses the Garlic.js library to save each answer in the browser's local storage as the visitor types, then fills the fields back in when they return.
See the demo page built in Unbounce.
This is community code, not an official Unbounce feature. Unbounce Support can't troubleshoot custom code. Test it on a published page before relying on it, and work with a developer if you aren't comfortable editing HTML, JavaScript, and CSS.
Add the script to your page
Copy the script from Save partially completed form data in local storage on GitHub and add it to the JavaScripts section with placement set to Before Body End Tag.
To use the script on all of your pages, add it with Script Manager instead.
(Optional) Limit how long data is saved
By default, the script keeps the saved answers indefinitely. Garlic.js has options that control how long data is kept and when it's cleared. See the Garlic.js documentation for the full list. To use an option, change the following line in the script. This requires some JavaScript knowledge.
$("form").attr("data-destroy", "false");
