Setting Up Your Hosting with Hover if You're Using a Root Domain (www)
If you're using a root domain (like "www.mysite.com") you might want to set up the naked domain, so that visitors who don't add the "www" will still be directed to your landing pages. To do that, you'll need to set up an A Record in Hover:
- Make sure you've completed Steps 1-9 above (skip to step 6 below if you're already on the Manage DNS page)
- Log in to your Hover account
- If you have more than one domain in your Hover account, click on the domain name that you would like to use with your Unbounce landing pages
- Click on the DNS tab
- Hover over the existing @ A Record and click edit DNS
- Enter 54.84.104.245 for IP Address
- Click Save
- Changes can take up to 48 hours to propagate across the internet

Troubleshooting
If you have multiple records with the same Hostname, you'll need to delete the matching Hostname records that aren't pointing to unbouncepages.com to ensure there are no conflicts.
If you've followed these steps and are still experiencing difficulties with your custom domain, take a screenshot of your current DNS setup and contact us at support@unbounce.com.
