Setting Up 'Integrations Powered by Zapier'

Follow

The Unbounce Integrations Powered by Zapier feature gives you access to 60+ zaps - pre-built integrations between at least two applications - so you can link your Unbounce account with a variety of other tools in your marketing stack.

This allows you to send leads and form submissions from your landing pages, sticky bars, and overlays to other platforms outside of Unbounce, in just a few quick steps, no workarounds, webhooks, or technical intervention required!

What You'll Need:

  • A Zapier account,
  • An Unbounce account with a published page, sticky bar, or popup.

Did you know you can now add any CRM or third-party integration with the Integrations section of the Unbounce Platform? Using this method means less scrolling through individual landing pages and the option to add bulk integrations.

Setting Up a Zap

Pro Tip:

You can use these setup steps to integrate your popups and sticky bars with your Zapier integrations. See Setting up Integrations With Popups and Sticky Bars to learn more.

If you have an active Zapier integration set up with your Unbounce account via a webhook, please note that setting up an integration with Zapier will not break your existing integration.

However, you'll want to switch over to a Zapier integration to help you stay up to date with all new features and benefits offered by this new feature.

  1. From the All Pages screen, select a page you wish to set up with a Zapier integration.
  2. From the Page Overview, click the Integrations tab, then click the Powered by Zapier section:
Powered by Zapier section in the Unbounce Page Overview.
  3. The Zapier log-in page will appear; enter your email address and password associated with your Zapier account:

  4. Click Authorize:

  5. Once authorized, you will see a list of available integrations and apps.
  6. You can toggle between Tile and List view by clicking the tile/list view buttons on the right:

  10. Begin by connecting your email address (associated with this Unbounce account) to your zap.
Tick email address associated with Zapier account.

    • Again, this will be pre-filled with a text titled Do Not Change This.
  12. Next, connect your third-party app/integration. In this example, that would be Google Sheets:

    • Sign in to the third-party app/integration if prompted.
  13. Customize the zap by configuring any field mapping required:

Field Mapping in Zapier

Depending on the third-party CRM or tool you're sending leads to, you may need to configure field mapping with your Unbounce form fields that match the format of the third-party app.

For example, your Unbounce form field contains titled 'first name,' and you want to map this value to your MailChimp list as 'first name.'

If your third-party app or tools requires you to set up field mapping, follow these steps:

  1. Authorize Zapier, and click on an app from the list to start the setup.
  2. A new page will appear with steps to configure the Trigger and Action for your zap.
    • For more information on how triggers and actions work in Zapier, see Zapier's getting started guide: Automation basics
  3. Within the Trigger step, confirm your Client and landing page:
Trigger & Action set up with Zapier.
    • This will be pre-filled with a text titled Do Not Change This.
  4. During the Action step, scroll down to select the fields from your CRM that correlate back to the form fields in Unbounce; some examples include:
    • First name,
    • Last name,
    • Email address,
    • Phone number,
    • Date created (when the visitor submitted the lead), etc.:

  5. Continue steps to testing the action, & click Publish Zap.

You're all set!
