Embedding a Spotify Playlist or Song into Smart Builder

Embed Spotify songs, albums, artists, playlists, podcasts, and your profile into your Smart Builder landing page.

This article explains how to add a Spotify playlist/song to your page, an extension as part of Unbounce Apps.

Installing the Spotify Button App

  1. Navigate to the Apps tab on the left-hand side of Smart Builder.
  2. Search and locate the Spotify App.
  3. Click the plus button next to Spotify to install the app.
  4. The Spotify app will appear in the Add tab in Smart Builder.

You can now drag and drop the Spotify app anywhere on your page. To learn more about drag and drop, see this article: Using Drag and Drop in Smart Builder.

Adding the Spotify Playlist to Your Smart Builder Page

At this time, you can embed individual songs or playlists on your landing page. Podcasts will not work.

  1. Add the Spotify app to your page using drag and drop:
Dragging and dropping Shopify app in Smart Builder.
  2. The Spotify button placeholder will appear on your page:

  3. Click the blue Add Music button; the Spotify Settings dialog box will appear.
  4. Within the Spotify URL field, paste the URL of the Spotify song, album, playlist, or artist.
    • To copy a song, album, playlist, or artist from Spotify, see their documentation on how to grab that link: Share from Spotify. Or, here's a screenshot:

  5. Click anywhere outside the Spotify Settings dialog box, and the song, playlist etc. will appear:

And that's it! Please remember to Save and Republish your page to finalize these changes.

  2. Click the gear icon to launch the Spotify Settings again.
  3. Then, change the URL with a different song, album, playlist, or artist link.
